It allows you a short time-to-market, reducing development costs and substantial design risks. The **System on Module (SOM)** uses the i.MX 8M Plus devices which are based on the high-performance quad-core ARM ® Cortex ® -A53 64-bit RISC core operating at up to 1.8 GHz. The devices of the i.MX 8M Plus family also embed a Cortex®-M7 32-bit RISC core operating at up to 800 MHz frequency. The Cortex ®-M7 core features a floating point unit (FPU) single precision which supports ARM® single-precision data-processing instructions and data types.
